EXPERIENCES

Of my 22 years of life, I've nearly 2 of them living, studying, and traveling abroad. On this page, you'll find some of the memories I've made from the time I have spent abroad.

Perugia, Italy

Perugia is located in the heart of Umbria, Central Italy. Here, I studied at the Umbra Institute, the University for Foreigners, and the University of Perugia for eight months. Perugia is known for its medieval history, gourmet food (including truffles, wine, and chocolate,) and love of the arts.

London, United Kingdom

My first semester of college, I studied for almost 4 months in London, England with Arcadia University's First Year Study Abroad Experience (FYSAE.) I was able to study at Arcadia's London Centre, while also emerging myself in  the bustling city through being active in student clubs, and taking advantage of educational and recreational trips.

Mumbai, India

Though I only spent one week in Mumbai, I feel that it is important to mention due to the impact it has left on me.

Catania, Italy

When I was fifteen, I received a scholarship from the Speedwell Foundation to study abroad in a non-English speaking country for 10 months through AFS Intercultural Programs. With these funds, I was able to live with a host family in Catania, a port city on the East Coast of Sicily, attending a local high school and experiencing Italian culture in a way only possible by direct and full immersion. This scholarship changed my life for the better, and Catania will forever have a special place in my heart.
